Primary Membership Information

New rules will come into effect from 01 September 2024 for Primary Membership of Press Club of Working Journalists:-

Types of Primary Membership of Press Club of Working Journalists :-

1. Fee for Ordinary Membership :- The initial membership annual fee is Rs 500/- in which a physical copy of the identity card, a printed card along with a certificate, card holder sticker and a card lanyard will be provided. This will be sent to the member's address by post. The said membership will be annual. The membership will be renewed after one year on payment again. The initial membership fee is Rs 2000/- which includes a physical copy of the identity card, a printed card, a certificate, a card holder sticker and a card lanyard. This will be sent to the member's address by post. The said membership will be for five years. The membership will be refunded after five years on payment of the membership again. Will be renovated.
2. Patron Grant / Membership Fee: A person who wishes to become a Patron in the organization will have to pay Rs. 5000/- as a grant membership fee to the organization. The said membership will be for five years. Which will be refunded after five years on payment again. Subscription will be renewed.
3. Distinguished Citizen Membership :Annual Fee Rs. 1500/- will have to be paid to the organization as a grant membership fee. In which a physical copy of the identity card, certificate along with printed card, card holder sticker and card lanyard will be provided. Which will be sent to the member's address by post. The said membership will be annual. Which will be refunded after one year on payment again Membership will be renewed.
4. Miscellaneous:- If an ordinary or special citizen member holds a position in the National/Regional Working Committee, he will have to pay Rs. 2000 or 1000/- as a contribution amount to the organization.
5. Renewal fee will be ₹ 500/- every year. In which physical copy of identity card, printed card along with certificate, card holder sticker and card lanyard will be provided. Which will be sent to the member's address by post. The said membership will be annual. The membership will be renewed after paying again after one year.
6. The person who provides grant or assistance for the purpose of financial support to the organization will be honored by the organization.
