Press Club of Working Journalists”, an organization committed to the welfare of journalists, is an all-India organization of revolutionary journalists who are campaigning all over India for Journalist Protection Act and the welfare of journalists.

OUR AIMS

The last and only aim of the Press Club of Working Journalists is “Journalist Protection Law”.

Every state has to implement the Journalist Protection Act at least with these conditions …

  1. The “Journalist Protection Act” is immediately applicable.
  2. During coverage on journalist / media person, attack should be registered under special law.
  3. Preventing journalists / media persons from doing coverage should be seen as an obstacle in government work.
  4. The cases registered on journalist / media personnel should first be investigated under special cell, the case should be registered only after confirmation of the case.
  5. Investigation of the case registered on journalist / media person should be done by at least PCS or IPS officer.
  6. If a false case is filed against the journalist / media person and it is confirmed, then there should be a provision of life imprisonment and maximum fine against the false litigants.
  7. Murder of journalist / media person should be kept under Rarest Crime.
  8. Free insurance should be provided in case of accident or death during coverage of journalist / media person.
  9. Journalists / media persons injured during coverage should be treated free of cost in government or private hospitals.
  10. If a family member of a journalist / media worker is attacked with a connivance, they should be treated free of cost in a government or private hospital.
  11. During coverage or on death of a journalist / media person working on a mission, his family should be given a government job.
  12. License should be issued to journalist / media personnel for self protection.
  13. For coverage to all journalists / media persons, I-cards should be issued by the state and the Center.
  14. Attendance of journalists should be mandatory in administrative and departmental meetings.
  15. There should be a provision of half fare for the traffic for coverage to the journalist / media person, and there should be a provision for early reservation for travel in the railway.
  16. Toll tax exemption should be provided for journalists / media persons.
  17. If the journalist / media person gets threats then he should be heard quickly and they should be provided security.

Demand for social security

  • Operation of “Journalist Economic Security Fund” scheme at state and center level.
  • Ensure free insurance of 1000000.RUP.
  • In case of serious illness, there should be free treatment in a good hospital.

 

Membership Rules:

  1. Membership will be granted to the same person who will be associated with journalist, media worker, print or electronic media.
  2. One who has attained minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 75 years.
  3. Who has experience in journalism.
  4. No member should be convicted.

Funding is necessary to provide strength to the organization. For which the free membership is now abolished from 01/11/2020. Now the initial membership fee is fixed at ₹100/-. The amount of the online identity card will be ₹200/- as per earlier. But the physical fee (printed card) of the identity card (printed card) along with the certificate, card holder, stickers and card lanyard will be given at an additional fee of ₹200/- by post to the member’s address. will be sent. Every year the identity card will have to be renewed, which will have to pay ₹100/-. An online card will be generated in the said amount and sent to the member’s mail address.

Other Rules:

In the organization, in addition to the National Guard, Conveyor, President, the following officers will be-

05 Organization General Secretary (Administrative, Law, Organization)
10 Secretaries
01 Treasurer
Other posts will be created as required.

In the event of indiscipline or anti-organization, membership will be terminated only after giving a show cause notice to the concerned, for which the Discipline Committee is formed. The Disciplinary Committee will have the following officers-
The committee will be the general secretary, general secretary and secretary, including the conveyor, chairman.

Others

  • National and regional officials can be expelled from the organization if they do not discharge their contribution to the organization and the responsibility given by the organization.
